I'm trying to use audio through hdmi to a receiver for speakers but windows keeps telling me that the current Nvidia drivers don't like my speakers so I can hear anything. If I open volume mixer I can see the bars going up and down when playing music etc but nothing out of the speakers. I have a gtx 1660 super. Pls any tips.

What kind of receiver? Model?

What exact error msg?

What is your AV chain? 1660>HDMI cable>Receiver>TV via ARC or eARC? are there any dongles in place?? (ie, DP to HDMI).

What version drivers?

What version of Windows....

See how that works? Details, without, we are just throwing shit at the wall until it sticks.
