Unfortenately it is not usually possible to upgrade a CPU that is soldered to the motherboard. If you want to make your laptop faster I suggest you upgrade your RAM and if possible the storage to a fast SSD.

But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. Please keep in mind, that this is just my personal opionion and I am no expert. Your system shall be cooled forever, see you next time.

Thank you guys !!

Unfortunately there s no way ti install a SSD Nvme but maybe I can upgrade the RAM (now 12 GB 800 MHz ) to 16 gb 1600 MHz? You think it s worth?

The first upgrade I'd do is to install a SATA SSD. You don't need NVMe to notice a huge improvement in system responsiveness.

I think that would be worth it. 800 MHz really isn't that fast annd if you can squeeze in the extra 4GB that should also make a noticable difference. Check if you can go over 2000MHz on your new 16GB kit, maybe that would make even more of a difference.

Switching to a SATA SSD would probably make a bigger difference then upgrading to 16GB of RAM.

It already is 1600MT/s, it's just 800MHz because it's DDR RAM. The computer came with one 4GB DDR3L-1600 stick according to the spec page.

Yeah you re right I misspoke.

I ve already installed a SSD and It does make a bigger difference! Although when I use heavy programs such as AutoCAD there Is some lag. If i double the RAM upgradin to 16 gb 3200 MHz could It possibly be the solution?

Thank you for your help.

You all are the best!

PS: Sorry for the english 🤣

The computer uses DDR3L, and I believe the top speed for that type of RAM is 1866MT/s, which isn't a significant change that you would actually notice. Also, the BIOS probably doesn't allow you to set RAM speeds, so you're probably stuck with the speed the computer came with even if you found faster DDR3L modules. Additional capacity might help, but only if the slow downs are from running out of RAM.

How much RAM do you use when you're using AutoCAD?

That said, I would guess your i5 5200U processor is what's slowing down your performance. It only clocks up to 2.7GHz, and so you're looking at performance weaker than a desktop Pentium G4560 or Athlon 200GE from 5 years ago. The main advantage of that CPU is that it gives you longer battery life - it isn't designed for top-of-the-line performance.

Understood. Vero clear. Thank you again.

Such a shame cannot be changed the CPU. Guess SSD and RAM Is the best i can do on this laptop.. time for a new one to reach higher performances.
