CPU delidding and questions about

So is the razor method the best? Also when people break the die under the IHS how do they do that. Did they tighten their heatsync to tight?.... Hit it with the razor. Also what up with this vice method, i don't put any stock in it but it looks like it *Maybe* could work if you were superman.

If that razor touch's that die with any amount of force. The die will break. I really do not suggest de-lidding. I cannot stress enough how pointless this is unless you're benchmarking.

The vice is the worst way to do it. I would razor it if i had to. However you have a pretty good Overclock as it is. You're looking tops like maybe 200-500Mhz higher than what you have. I would put the money you're risking on breaking that CPU into a new GPU.

I'm not wanting to push it farther i just want it cooler, i havent updated my signature yet but ive dropped the CPU down to 44Ghz because i was hitting 90 with an H100i and fans at max. The fans are the Quiet Edition SP series
