Hey all, after getting ready for a new desk it came time to unplug all my cables but even I labelled the cables but amidst the mess they got mixed up, now I have a power cable for my PC and my Monitor, one is 13A and the other is 10A. I’m pretty sure the 10A one is for my PC but would it make a difference, am I in the clear to use either? Thanks

Usually it is the PC or your the PSU of your computer that has the higher Ampere. So without seeing it, your pc is the one with the 13A and 10A for your monitor.

My monitor is the HP 24X

My power supply is a Corsair but I’m not sure of the wattage, my computer has a 2070S and an i7 9700F if that helps.

You monitor is only 38Watts max. And your 2070s minimum support for Intel i7 is most probably around 650Watts or higher. So the 13A is definitely for your PC and the 10A is for your monitor. As I stated earlier.

13A is for the PC and 10A is for the monitor.
