HI i have a DQ45CB intel mb witha q9400 at 2.66ghz with 4 gb ddr2 memory

2 of the ram sticks are kingmax PC2-6400 (400mhz)

2 are kingston pc2-5300(333mhz)

Running in my pc now

I want to upgrade from 4 gb of ram to 6 by taking out one of the pairs and replacing them with this

Would the stick work together or will it not?

There's really no way to tell for sure.  It's best to use sticks from the same kit, but as you can plainly see now, sticks from different kits can work together.

That said, unless you REALLY need that extra 2 gigs of ram, I'd probably say its better to leave your ram config alone.
