Hello everyone, I need some support to understand if my cpu is bottlenecking my 3060ti and so if I can get more fps upgrading from the actual xeon 2667 v2 maybe to a i5-12600k. Here I leave specs and a capture during a game session of the msi afterburner overlay. Thank you guys for you help馃槈 !

Your gpu is maxed out, not your cpu. You are gpu bottlenecked.聽

Hi Blue, thanks for your answer! What I was thinking looking at some benchmark on youtube is that maybe the full cpu load counter can be we can say low (20-30%), but since many games are not write to use many cores I can be bottlenecked on the single core performances, that on an old xeon like this are not exciting XD.

But you are showing the load on each of your cores and the most taxed core is only at 52% PLUS the fact that your gpu is at 98%. That is clearly a GPU bottleneck.

If it was a sigle core bottleneck, a single core would be at 100%.

Hi Blue, since I'm a quite stubborn person, I've not been so conviced that the cpu wasn't bottlenecking the gpu, and in the end I tried. I changed platform, moving to an i5 12600k with 3600ddr4, but keeping gpu and nvme drive. The results are clear, the cpu was a bottleneck XD. Just to give u an update in case u was interested. Thanks 馃檪
