So I was playing warzone. Streaming. With a 2 monitor set up.  Main one on DisplayPort and the second on hdmi.

mod game I tabbed and opened GeForce experience from the second screen to record something and the game froze and then ultimately crashed the pc and rebooted.  Decided I was done for the night turned it off.  Next day loaded up the game. Cut scene was fine.  Warzone menu started sticking and stuttering. The gpu was running at roughly 17ms response time which has never happened.  Tried vanguard same thing. But halo ran at 110+ frames at high settings.  And Valorant didn’t hiccup either.  Tried deleting and reinstalling the games.  Didn’t work.  Tried reinstalling the gpu drivers also didn’t work. Tried swapping out the display port for the hdmi and nothing worked. The game ran in safe mode and then ran regularly but at 60 frames with the response time still around 17.  I’m hung up and don’t know what else to try other than maybe sending the pc back and letting the company look at it since it’s a pre built with warranty.

build is

rtx GeForce gigabyte 3070

ryzen 5 5600x

650w psu

gigabyte b550 au ud motherboard

thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

Perhaps a reinstall of your GPU's drivers would be a good start before sending it off to no-man's land. Give that a shot and see if it addresses the issue.

Unfortunately that was one of the things I had already tried. So that’s where I’m kind of lost abs ran out of ideas.  I even reseated the gpu after trying everything else.

Try DDU in safe mode, that will wipe your GPU drivers clean.

If that doesn't work what do you GPU and CPU temps look like?

Also does event viewer -> windows logs -> system show any error or critical level logs?

My GPU temps stay pretty normal they never really get above 40-50 degrees when games crash it shows the temps in the 30-40s for the GPU and I hadnt really looked at the CPU temps but the CPU time bounces like roughly between 3-12ms and never really settles on a number... DDU is display driver uninstaller correct?

So i think it may have also fried my displayport cable... It seems to be running better, however with the displayport cable connected if i switch a game over to fullscreen borderless it spazzes out and sends the gpu time up into the 300s if i switch to a hdmi it runs it generally decently so far. and yes i did do the uninstall and reinstall

okay I lied... Its still acting up and im not sure why... Itll stall and show my gpu time all the way up into the mid 3000s while in warzone but show a gpu temp of 32 degrees... the cpu time never really gets above 10/11  the highest i have saw is 12 for the cpu time. but then randomly clear its self up in run right until it hits a random snag and then shoots back up into the 2000-3000s......
