Which Graphicscard should I get?

Hi,

 

I was wondering what you think which graphics card would be the best for me. I'm going to buy a PC soon. It will be used for 1440p gaming, with titles like Valheim, Valorant, GTA V, Minecraft, etc... 

 

My options are the following:

- RTX 3060 TI for around €800,-

- RX 6700 XT for around €900,-

- RTX 3070 for around €1000,-

(I live in the Netherlands)

 

I'm planning to play with Ryzen 5 5600x and 2x8gb 3600 mHz of memory. For extra specs ask me...

Out of these I would recommend the 3060 Ti or 3070. A 6600 XT would be 620, which performs between a 3060 and 3060 Ti and could also be good enough, seeing your games don't really require a monster GPU. Even my 5500 XT can play these games fine (100+ fps) at 1440 high settings so all GPU's you listed should be great.

Do you have a reason you wouldt recommend the RX 6700 XT?

Actually the 6700 XT seems to perform similar or better than the 3070 now after some updates. Unless you use RT the 6700 XT would be a better deal.

 

Even if it's still between 3060 Ti and 3070 like it used to be, the only reason I would recommend it is when you prefer AMD software over Nvidia, which could always change with updates.
