I am upgrading from an rx570, and looking to buy a second hand graphics card that is an old high end card. I have found some 1070s for about 200 pounds, and am wondering if this would be a logical upgrade.

My power supply is 500w but I would rather not max it out since then I have to pay a lot of money for power.

Honestly for that budget you shouldn't upgrade. Yes, you can get better stuff, but it's not worth 250 imo.
