Hey,

I managed to achieve a 13.3% performance uplift by manually tuning the pbo limits, but my max temperature during the all core work load increased from 60 degree to 80 degree celcuis, just wanted to know if running it at 80 degrees during all core workloads is safe.

Temp at idle: 34 degreee celcius

Average all core frequency during cinebench r23 run : 4.65ghz

Temp during cinebench r23 : 80 degree celcius max, average 77 degree celcius

It's not the best, but should not be a big problem since it runs this hot only at very intensive workloads. Most laptops run hotter than that at peak load and work just fine. But it would be better if you invest in a better cooler if you plan on using this overclock.

Worst case, the cpu will hit the threshold and throttle itself to avoid overheating and even if it somehow manages to get past a limit, the computer will shut itself off.

Also, out of curiosity, did you test out this overclock for the work you're actually planning to do? Cinebench is not a good test unless you really plan to do 3d modelling or this kind of work. If it's only for gaming, you can probably save some power by not running such a high OC, but then again games will probably not stress the cpu that much so it will not heat up this much.
