hi i am looking at a new get set because my turtle beach PX5 are starting to go. i dont have lots money so i am looking at this headset BlackShark Expert 2.0 because they are on sale for 45. 

I just want to know if they sound good or if it is a bad idea. please help

NO NO GAMING HEADSETS NOOOO. I'm... I'm sorry, my audiophile instincts kicked in. Don't buy gaming headsets, buy some good headphones and a separate mic, both will be better quality. Consult http://www.head-fi.org/ for good headphone choices.

Ok give me some ideas I was look that way but at this time I don't have much more then 100 it I had 300-400 I would buy a good mic and headphones

You should still go separate at that price point. Id reccomend the 518s if that's in your budget. Excellent for gaming. I'm not as well versed in microphones though, so I only know that a lot of people like the blue snowball. Trust me, going separate is a MUCH better idea. I've tried on those turtle beach things and they sound AWFUL. I've watched enough of Linus's headset reviews to know that the mic quality is decent at best. Go separate, or go home :P

I'm just afraid there's some goblin living in the rafters of this forum that's going to reccomend beats. I know for a fact that head-fi exterminated all of their rafter goblins long ago.

At $45 you can go for it if you must have a headset. Otherwise, Superlux headphone and Zalman mic if you want to stick to that ~$45 budget. If you want something a little bit better, then unfortunately for canada it's hard. Shure 440 are at $100 and you can get 840 pads later on to improve them. They'll sound very neutral though. I think you can ship V-modas from US Amazon if you want something bass heavy. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.
