Hi! I have a cv450 a gift from a friend (cause I have a very cheap psu back then with no ratings.)

I have a very low end system:

Biostar a320mh

Ryzen 3 3200g

HyperX fury 16gb (dual channel)

240gb ssd

1tb hdd

1 200mm fan

3 120mm fans

All enclosed in tecware quad TG

Im planning to buy gtx 970 for an upgrade. I mostly play valorant, apex, gta v and league. Is it okay with my psu and its build? I have a very tight budget and I want to boost those 40-60 frames to at least 70 at min. Help 馃ゲ

Seems fine though some sources say that you need 500 others say 450 so I think it's a grey area

I have an ASUS G14 2021 with Manjaro KDE and I am a professional Linux NoOB and also pretty bad at General Computing.

A 450W psu with that system and a 970 thrown in should be fine. Throw those specs through a PSU calculator and averages out to about 370W peak with the 970 added in.

Better than none, and honestly would be good enough for a 970. Id say get an upgrade later on the line for reliability sake but honestly for now, itll be fine.
