my local disk d turned into local disk f idk how but basically i tried to launch valorant but it wont let me it says install then i click the folder that my valorant is installed to and it launches and creates a new valorant shortcut also whenever i try to access a folder on quick access that was one of my d folders it says this edit: my dads drive which was previously called f drive is now d drive so it switched names?

So just to be clear, nothing changed right? 
No new software installed by you or anyone else? 
And no one opened the system or messed with it in anyway?

 

If not that does look concerning.

Whst does disk management show, anything weird like does the drive so an unallocated partition or a considerably smaller size then the actual drive size?

Does event viewer-> system logs show any error or critical issues related to the drive?

Download crystal disk info and check SMART/ drive health. Any caution ⚠️ flags on your drive?
