Looking for advice for first build (IGPU)

gamer854

Budget: $1200 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I would like to be able to use the PC for playing light games (such as Minecraft) as well as being able to do some streaming/recording and video editing.

Other details: Going with an IGPU (5600G) because of the GPU shortage right now, and i'll be able to buy a dedicated GPU later when I can afford it. Would have to include peripherals as this is my first PC. Would appreciate any feedback on the build I have so far!

You can also choose the route of game now, then ugprade cpu later at not too much of a loss and cost. Or like you wanto to do and wait for gpu prices to drop. It's your money it's what you want to do with it.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/cfKD4s - No GPU

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/cVtFfv - GPU, no HDD. 260 to spare, you can look around and generally found a 1060 for 300 if you want to put up the slight amount of cash. Used prices for the rest of the components are even better

But that's about as best as I can put together for this

EDIT: I am now aware of the second build's bad math. Off by a 100
