In their default configurations, most consumer routers and gateways have their switch ports and WLAN bridged. Provided you aren’t running different subnets without routing tables, you shouldn’t have this problem.
Some recommendations:
- Check to make sure that all computers are on the same subnet (e.g. they all have LAN IPs sharing the same first 3 octets).
- All connected PCs are on a Private network profile and have File & Printer Sharing turned on.
- All connected PCs are in the same Workgroup.
