So got banned on Mw2 the over day for hosting a Team Modz AI lobby on private match with friends :/

but haze another £200 worth of games on that account so could i install steam twice on my pc?

 

Steam installed on SSD (cod banned account)

Steam installed on HDD (second account unbanned)

 

would this work ? or should i just make a new account all together ?

getting banned for doing w/e on a private match is retarded imho...

and it shouldn't ban you on steam? just in that specific game..right?

edit: tecnically, I don't think it's impossible to install two instances of steam on 1 computer

edit: my friend managed to run two instances of steam on 1 machine at the same time

edit: you can install 1 instance of steam on your account and just switch accounts...

Being banned on Steam will only prevent you from playing games that use Valve Anti-cheat System (VAC)

Note that it says Modern Warfare 2 has no unsecured servers therefore doing anything against the rules on that game even if it's a private match will result in a ban.
