Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding this sad excuse of a software

 

- Do I need to keep it running in order to dynamically control fan speeds? (i.e. according to CPU temp). When it's not running the fans don't change speed, they need the app to always be running and I have no idea why, I mean the software has a system service running as "CAM Service", I thought it would be the one doing the hardware control in the background, like (Corsair link's service) without having to keep the main app GUI running.

 

- If I do leave CAM running minimized (which I hate), why on earth does it need to run 9 f'n processes in the background? 😤 Are there any known alternatives to this app?
