hey, i have this old pc it has a intel core i3 540, 8gb of ddr3 ram and a nvidia geforce gtx 680 in it, but i have a problem.

when i tried to reinstall windows 10 the power cut off so now it wont go on with installing windows, it just gives an error messege when it trys to install windows.

i have tried with an usb to boot from that but it doesnt see the windows 10 boot file, what can be the problem?

like what can i do about it? can it be that the components are to old so it really cant boot windows 10?

Have you tried a linux USB to check if it would boot from there? 
Also what do you use to set up the USB? If you use rufus make sure that you DON'T select UEFI because that hardware most likely won't have that. 
Don't try the MediaCreation tool that set's it up in UEFI mode. 
On RUFUS select your USB stick - the ISO file - Partition scheme MBR BIOS 
then you can try and install it.

okay i tried that, it still doesnt see the windows iso file, and id did some more research on my motherboard, and at the site it says 'OS suports' windows 2000 / xp / 7

so im gonne try that first, also maybe do a bois update if that doesnt work because the last update wat 2013..

Okey, i have bin trying, and now i have an bootable usb, i tested on my laptop and it was a win. What can i do now? 

i dont know what to do next, im just a beginner and want to learn new stuff 

.
