New gaming mouse

Wireless Picks: Rival 3 Wireless. It has no rgb, but is a fast and reliable gaming mouse from SteelSeries. Or, you could do the G305 from LogitechG. Also no rgb. Light and quick, I actually planned on using it a while ago, but decided I wanted something wired. There's also the new Razer DeathAdder v2 X HyperSpeed, which is a more right handed design than ambidextrous.

Wired Picks: From SteelSeries, there's the mouse I use, which is the Aerox 3 2022 Edition Wired (I use the white one), and the Rival 5, which is slightly heavier, but more durable. If you don't want something from SteelSeries and don't understand why I like their mice so much (I just do), then you should try the Glorious Model O, which is very lightweight and similar to the Aerox 3, or you could try the ENDGAME GEAR XM1r. It is the non-rgb equivalent of the ENDGAME GEAR XM1, and has three colors to choose from, white, black, and dark frost.

Hello, i was in the market for a new gaming mouse i was eyeing the g502 lightspeed but i am concerned that it may be to heavy for games like semi-competitive counter-strike which brings me to my first question does weight matter. I am also asking for recommendations for other mice my hand size is 16.5cm long and 8 cm wide i use a mixture of palm and claw grip but that doesn't really matter to me as i said i do not play very competitively and am not looking for any features in particular any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Weight does matter. A lighter mouse will allow you to glide it around your mousepad with minimal effort. A heavy one takes thrusting your arm and tires it out faster. I know you're not playing competitively, but a lighter mouse would help. Do you have a budget? If you do, I can help you.

Wired or Wireless? Do you have a color preference or brand preference? Do you want super light or fairly light? Do you care if it's rgb or not?

Edited by Kyxa
It just occured to me about the rgb

I think that it is a solid and well built mouse. For me it would be too heavy, as I prefer the lightest mice I can find. I woudn't mind using it, it's just that I'm a lightweight gamer. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing mouse. I just have a personal preference to lighter mice. But overall, I would encourage you to use it if that's what you want. It all comes down to personal preference, and I like this mouse, even though it doesn't fit my criteria for what I would use for my own mouse (the weight being basically the only issue).

G502. I have Proteus Spectrum and have had it for 5 to 6 years now. It's hands down the best mouse I've ever tried. After all these years it is solid and these days they cost about half of what they used to. I don't get why people say it is heavy. I am no gym junkie and it doesn't feel heavy to me. The miniature Logitech wireless travel mouse (MX anywhere 3) feels heavier than the wired G502. I even have an extra weight added to back side middle slot. Slides extremely smoothly on hardwood table, laminate table and mouse pad. Everyone who has tried it has immediately commented how good it felt to use.

The G502 is the best mouse shape i ever had. I wouldn't mind the weight too much if that's what scares you away. I've used it for years and these were my best CS:GO times. Weight is just a matter of preference. Heavier or lighter mice won't make you magically worse or better.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

I know that. I just think that 60 grams and under is a gaming experience everyone should be able to try.

Sure. Try out as many different weights and shapes as you can. That's the only way to find out what's best for you. I personally found my sweet spot at the G Pro's 80g (non superlight).
