PC won't boot

Hello everyone,

 

I was trying to make a media pc to run plex and remote play games on the tv and I found an MSI Z97 G43 with an I7 4790, but no matter what I try it won't start.

I also tried to use a different processor and was able to get in the BIOS.

Could the processor be dead? What could cause a processor to die like this? Is there anything I can do to bring it back to life?

Have you updated the BIOS?
