Need some OS configuration recommendation

Hi I need some expert opinions for my build.

 

I built a pc for my home. I'm gonna use this pc as home server.

 

I am considering use multiple vm in this configuration.

 

1 for media player/internet browsing (widnows)

1 for nas (truenas or unraid)

1 for home automation (any linux with zigbee/zwave sniffer hardware and home assistant server)

 

Which approach should I take?

Windows as Main OS with 2 linux hyperv vm or unraid as Main OS with 1 windows vm and 1 linux vm

 

Note: I have 1 gpu in my system.

do you plan to game?

proxmox is propably the best to do all you want but some games might be hard to run windows in vm so main os might have to be windows you dont want to get booted/banned just for running windows in vm if you figure out how to hide things.
