Hey!

So i have a macbook air and was looking for a docking station since I use my macbook for school and at home. I was looking at some USB C docking stations but alot of them are like $100+

I was wondering, does anyone have any recommendations for any USB C docking stations for around $50 or maybe even less?

What are you looking for in a docking station? Like what ports and such. I have an Anker one but its sorta designed for the MacBook Pro, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YZ48HCT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but Anker has nice ones. But you need to have an idea of what you looking out of a docking station.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I wouldn't cheap out on USB-C docks, there are tales of them frying Macbook Airs even when using the official Apple charger.

It may be fixed in current MacOS but I'd stick to trusted brands just to be safe.

There are limitations to how many monitors a type c dock can do on a Mac. From my understanding to be able to do multiple monitors with one dock, it needs to be a Thunderbolt doc and your not going to find one that cheap.

the multiple monitors problem isnt really a problem with me as i found an old roku that i attached to my monitor and just air play my mac to that and use that as an extra screen. It works pretty well too
