Remote Desktop from iPad to Linux PC

Hi everyone.

I use my Linux pc for doing machine learning stuff. Right now I can't afford buying a laptop, but I have an iPad pro with magic keyboard. You see where I'm going.

I've tried using team viewer but it displays as my pc monitor (i.e. Ultrawide with black bars up and down and everything looks tiny) so it's barely usable. I've also attempted to use VNC through some tutorials but couldn't get it to work.

Does anyone have any suggestion for this? Thanks.

Do you actually need to access the desktop? Wouldn't a ssh connection + jupyter server running on your desktop be enough?

Maybe that would be the best solution. I bought this Juno app. I've tried it locally but now I recall it has some remote server connection function. Thanks.

Nothing special needed. I operate like this with this setup. You just need to install an RDP daemon.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/xrdp

takes about 30 seconds to setup. than just install Microsoft's RD Client app on your ipad. and RDP protocol now supported.
