Happy new year all, i hope everyone is well and having fun.

can anyone help? ive been seeing this app open for months and ive never opened it. ive tried selecting it but it does nothing when i do. im guessing its telemetry of some kind, is there any way to stop it or figure out what it is?

Go to apps in settings, find "google search" and force stop it. This is an app that's usually activated by voice assistant, sometimes it bugs out and refuses to cooperate. 

 

Edit: If you don't find "google search", force stop the "google" app.

ok i tried it and it didnt work, it did it again today 😞
