Really easy?

I've tried it.. yeah, first I tried it when enabling it through my BIOS (not as the video said) and then go to my resolution settings and "detect" a 2nd monitor, aka.. the iGPU (Quick Sync).. now I enabled it.. opened OBS and streamed.. nice performance ..

But after 20 minutes I couldn't join any of my games when I played around with the iGPU locations in the resolution settings on Windows 8.1 .. so I restarted my PC and disabled the iGPU.. Quick Sync was already marked in OBS but it said when I started to stream that nothing is supported to enable quick sync..

So I went back to my BIOS and enabled it again, did a smooth setting up the iGPU placement thingy and it worked flawlessy.. except for the stream was SOOOO laggy, I couldn't even tell.. 1fps or 2fps running.. dunno why, when I first started streaming with Quick Sync it did no problems.

So what am I doing wrong here? should I update Intel drivers? (Telling me an error I can't)..

Or? am I outdated about Quick Sync? cuz I have NO idea what it is :P..

Can someone actually guide me on what to do please? cuz Luke said it was that easy.. probably I'm doing it wrong?

Check your motherboard bios options. There should be something called "IGP" (integrated graphics processor) somewhere. Just be sure it isn't turned off. Windows should recognise 2 graphics cards, your dedicated one and the intel HD one. As long as the intel hd is installed you can use the quick sync

I tried it using my defaults and got no bugs whatsoever.

So, to summ it up:

-bios igp turned on

-screen connected to dedicated gpu so that the pc boots from it

-windows should have the dedicated and intel gpus installed

This is all i've done and had 0 problems. Also, give a try to Xsplit. It's a paid software (the main vers) but it's simple. Give it a try as it also uses quicksync
