Hi folks.  I'm hoping to upgrade my existing ROG pre-built by swapping out some stuff and keeping some others.  It's one of the "tilted case ones" from the LTT pre-built video from a few weeks ago and a lot of the stuff I'm pretty happy with, but feel I could get a better experience and longevity from it by changing out a few pieces.  I'm comfortable enough building/maintaining machines, but far from an expert - here's my plan (so far)

Stuff to keep:

- I7-10700KF

- 32GB (2 x 16), 3200mhz RAM

- RTX 2070 Super

- 512GB SSD & 2TB HDD

- monitor, mouse, keyboard & speakers (they're all relatively new and will be fine for a long time)

Stuff to upgrade:

- case & case fans (poor ventilation & pretty loud for me)

- CPU cooler (came with a "tower style" cooler, but it's pretty small)

- Motherboard (G15CK with B460 chipset - no many customization options in BIOS and terrible fan control options from what I've been able to determine through experimenting)

- PSU (seems to get pretty hot and is non-modular with cheap-looking wires/connectors)

So, with all that being said, here's my list off parts I'm thinking of ordering.  It is still going to be solely a gaming machine, and I don't mind a bit of RGB (I'm almost 40 and me/my kids still think it's kind of neat!)  Suggestions are appreciated if you think there's something better or something I'm missing.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow with 3 added 120mm case fans

           or

Cooler Master MasterBox NR600 with 3 added 120mm case fans

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B560-A Gaming WiFi (kind of want to stick to ASUS MB due to familiaity and past experience)

PSU: Corsair TX650M

So that's the idea so far.  Any help or input is most welcome.  Happy New Year!

Corsair 4000D Airflow

The Corsair 4000D is a very nice looking case, with good air flow. I would call that an upgrade compared to that hotbox you have.

Hope it helps! Be Quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black will definitely be better than the Hyper 212. You'll want a fully modular PSU too.
