yes, but it is out of my budget. Asus ROG Strix G15 (Ryzen 9 5900HX/16 GB/1TB/RTX 3050/15.6 inch 144hz)

The Ryzen 7 model is on Zen 2

Is the difference between Zen 2 and Zen 3 that important for you? Because a Ryzen 9 is way too powerful for a 3050. A Ryzen 7, especially on Zen 2, is much more balanced for a 3050 for most gaming tasks. Unless you are playing F1 games I suppose.

Fuck you scalpers, fuck you scammers, fuck all of you jerks that charge way too much to tech-illiterate people.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.

Current setup: Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG B550, 2x8GB DDR4-3200, RX 5600 XT (+120 core, +320 Mem), 1TB WD SN550, 1TB Team MP33, 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute, 500GB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair 4000D Airflow, 650W 80+ Gold. Razer peripherals.

Also have a Alienware Alpha R1: i3-4170T, GTX 860M (≈ a 750 Ti). 2x4GB DDR3L-1600, Crucial MX500

i am not a gamer, like I casually game. I want a machine for video editing, 3d designing, programming, game development, app development.

If you are not a gamer, but prefer to have the Zen 3 CPU for the extra performance over Zen 2, have you looked at the Acer Swift X Creator Laptop with a Ryzen 7 5800u CPU and 3050 Ti GPU on Amazon? They sometimes go on sale for 900 USD and have 16GB RAM. It will be incredible for your intended purpose I think, and consume far less energy, run cooler, run quieter, be lighter, have much better battery life, and save you money in the long run possibly.

You would only have to upgrade the NVMe storage to match the specs you are looking for. (And since you're under budget, you should be able to afford it). If I was in the United States, I would buy this without hesitation, but it's not available in my location right now, but I wish it was. I too, like you, do much more editing etc over gaming, but a good GPU is of course indispensable.

This laptop also has a second NVMe slot, so you can add to the already included storage, rather than having to replace it, which is very convenient IMO.

Good luck finding a suitable laptop! and I hope my post helps you.
