Truenas & 2.5gbit

right: I have a couple of NAS running. Most of my network is up on 2.5gbit and the unraid NAS (being linux based) work fine.

The question: finding an affordable & supported 2.5gbit (or 5/10gbit but able to negociate down) NIC for my Truenas Core NAS

Anybody got this working? What NIC?

To the best of my knowledge, both Aquantia and Realtek ethernet chipsets aren't supported by TrueNAS. I think the closest you could get is an SFP+ card (Mellanox, etc) with 10G RJ45 modules (specifically ones that support dropping down to 2.5G). Your mileage may vary as I haven't tried that configuration.
