Yeah you could do that as I think it allows you to use for like 30 days before you need to activate.

You could also download the Windows 8.1 .ISO, get a key, burn it to a DVD with K3B, and do install that way.

I thought there was no download for the Windows 8.1 .ISO?

You will need a windows 8 key first though :)

OR you can use one of theese keys to get the ISO, Install it and then purchase your own key:
