Hello, I turned on my PC today and my DVI connection randomly stopped working after about 10 minutes of use. After some troubleshooting, I was able to see my boot screen through DVI, but once it got to the actual login screen the DVI would not display it, but the HDMI does.

I decided to just use HDMI and move on, but now my GPU constantly at 100% when playing Old School RuneScape, a 20 year old extremely undemanding game hardware wise. It stutters to the point of being unplayable, and if I turn on the HD mode it becomes an unrecognizable mess of polygons.

The GPU is powering on, fans are spinning, and I've updated the drivers but I am out of ideas at this point.

My specs are:
GeForce GTX 1080
i7-8700k 3.7GHz
16GB RAM
500GB SSD

Thanks for any help

There is a chance your GPU is failing, but just in case it's just that one port. I'd test by either reinstalling your OS from scratch, or use DDU to uninstall the driver and reinstall to make sure it's not corrupted. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
