Intel quick sync

After seeing the video from Luke at Pax, I have been trying to set quick sync up so it will work with open broadcaster. When I activate the on board graphics inside of my motherboard UEFI, it causes my graphics card not to work during the UEFI and only in windows. To fix this I then have to plug my monitor into the motherboard graphics output and restart my pc to use the UEFI. So my question is, what settings do I need to turn on on board graphics but allow me to use the UEFI with my graphics card? Allowing me to use my pc normally whilst having on board graphics and in turn intel quick sync on.

My pc specs are in the signature, if you need that. 

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.


Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

I was trying to set it up on a pentium with no luck :(
