i jest ofc 😛

but...

Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime...unless u try and buy it now..which u cant ..because its been so successful they have pulled the game form sale due to to many people playing 😛

...

Ok now seriously.. Yes that display is fine for gaming. It along with the G9 and Neo G9 are the best VA panel monitors currently out.

You can get the colors effectively identical with calibration.

Any difference beyond that will be with contrast as ur comparing a IPS with a VA.

A proper calibration requires a consumer grade calibrator like the X-Rite i1 Display Pro, alternatively u can search for display calibration services in your area.

The IPS display lends itself to of center viewing, having a VA panel to the side can result in color and contrast shift. As such i'd recommend having the VA panel G7 as ur main monitors front and center with the IPS PG279Q to the side.

Aye looks fine.

Just make sure to adjust the G7 so that its as dead straight to your eyes as possible when in ur normal seated position.
