Bios screen loop

Hey, my laptop gigabyte aero 15 xc has been giving me the bios screen whenever i turn it on, and whenever it does boot me into the windows which i have to be lucky for it sometimes freezes or gets stuck

Can someone please help me i really need it for school.

What is the error message? What have you done to it for this to start happening?

Well nothing it suddenly happened,

I just turned my laptop on and it started to do this, i'm kinda starting to think it has a problem with booting up my windows which is why it takes me to the bios screen.

Sounds like a problem with either the Windows install or the storage itself

 

How old is the laptop? Does it have an SSD or HDD? It's probably worth a fresh windows reinstall

Its like half a year old now, it got an ssd

Also i did test the ssd and it passed the test.

But i did start to believe that my windows needed a fresh instal since everything inside my laptop has been running like it's supposed to.

However if i do that i will lose all my files for games thats alright but fory school work on it it's dangerous

Which is why i don't really wanna do it unless i really have to

You could take the SSD to a data recovery specialist, as it's likely that most of your stuff is inaccessible otherwise

 

Do you know how to create a Linux live disk? You could use that to test whether the hardware still works and try accessing some of your SSD if the data isn't corrupted

Well i've seen a vid of it b4

But for safety i might just take it to a specialist

Np, just next time make sure you backup all your important data. I use OneDrive because it's free and integrated with Windows, has saved my ass a couple of times

I use onedrive too but the thing is it's full and some of my work weren't saved yet
