780Ti is already a beast for 1440p. If you will think that another card is needed in the future, buy one when they're on sale, when Maxwell launches.

If you are unsatisfied with current performance and have the money you are willing to spend then sure go for it. 

Just remember that it will bump the power consumption of your rig up but your tx750 "should" be fine.

So you know when top end maxwell is going to launch. I have not heard anything yet and as far as i am aware it could be a while.

not nowwww, your card can already max out all games why do you need another? Get a full watercooling loop instead

Absolutely do it.

 

I have a pb278q and two EVGA 780ti acx, it destroys pretty much everything, just great being able to crank everything up and not see hitching and stuttering. Lucked out and got two sequential serial number cards that'll hit 1240-1250mhz, but I hear these chips generally OC well. They do put out some heat fo' sho'.

 

Your rig will be good for a couple years of demanding games at least, when you play you'll be glad you splurged.
