HELP ME

guys can someone help me i have old pc and  sometimes my monitor  is turning off and saying no signal but pc is still runing and its not turning on until i restart my pc. can someone tell me whats the issue and how can i fix it

Have you updated your drivers?

How did this problem start and can u replicate it?

More info is needed

probably a graphics driver crash, probably due to a dying gpu.

i have latest driver and specs are pentium gt3260 gt730 4gb ram ddr3 500w psu

I can't remember which, but some variant of Displayport or HDMI doesn't like "wake on demand" as much as others... maybe it was just hot-plugging between ports.

 

Either way, "Safe Mode with Networking" should allow you to get a full update of all the drivers you need & also allow you to run Windows Update 'til there's nothing left TO update.

does that mean that it could be vga cable problem?

... or the monitor?  Could be.

Cables ARE cheaper to replace than monitors, though.
