Hello guys! I want somethink like the new mac pro. Small and able to carry around.  And i want it to be a beast!

My budget is 3999$ like the mac pro

Aim: I will be doing some video-editing 3d moddeling, simulations, adobe after effects, AND developer programmes like xcode and other programming languages and i want it to be good

I will be buying from the uk

ps: i also will be playing games like watch dogs and other intessive games

I want it to be small and powerful and be more futureproof( not such word but i hope you understand)

If there is not any solution i will just buy a mac pro

If the build is good you can add a watercooling kit and parts

Peripherals only a keyboard and a monitor

Also does anyone knows the gaming performance of the 2 w700? :D

For any builds and suggestions post below!

Why am i upgrading because i have a crappy laptop

Bitfenix Prodigy M with SLI Titan Black ( if it fits, I don't know), i7 4930x, 32GB 2400Mhz RAM and anything else near your own choice ( Big SSD, a few HDDs, etc )

Watercooling is optional, not that easy in such small case.

I do suggest a 800Watts Gold PSU for this build.

But the heat output. I read a post previously about the r9 295x2 even in a small case the heat output will be massive

I dont want to burn everything up

Could do something like this here http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/118473-small-form-factor-workstation-build/

But swap out the 780 with a Titan Black perhaps.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

But this is not like the mac pro. Althought it will be small and good however since the mac pro has dual w500 or even upgrade it to w700. My budget is not  very tight though

4770K and 780 as a workstation setup, isn't really a good idea to even try to compete with the Mac Pro.

i like this build. but i have the money for a better one

ok which spec of the Mac pro you are looking at?

I dont mind about the cores. I mind about the performance.

Also mostly i want it to be compact

Buy a Mac Pro and Bootcamp Windows ?

But what will be the gaming performance will be very low as i read in anatech

Any other suggestion build?

Also if i buy a mac pro i will upgrade it to 16 gb of ram or even higher. ;)

if i were to choose the 6 core system

the mobo used will become the X79 and pretty much you cant fit the X79 mobo into the AeroCool DS cube casing

which is why I only choose the 4 core Xeon CPU

ok those AMD workstation cards are IMO crappy compare to a single power 780Ti card

this is coming from a AMD fanboy's mouth

the mac pro is a serious workstation

you cant really get the same performance as the mac in terms of compute power but close with money to spare

4930K with Titan Black reference in a Bitfenix Prodigy M will be your best choice I guess.

AMD is ok but with you budget

I will still suggest Intel coz AMD boards don't really have decent AM3+ board in the mATX range

i recommend reading this first

depending on the type of work a Gaming grade GPU with gaming drivers might cause issues

you might want to invest in a professional GPU instead, of course it depends on the type of software you have

Sure, if you have a SLI-supporting motherboard it won't be a problem to add a second one.
