I'm looking to setup a camera that I would be able to stream wireless to my computer.

(I'm trying to get a camera set up that would allow me to add it as a source into OBS even though its outside my house.)

I need it to have night vision as well.

This is pretty obscure so tell me if you need anything else.

There's a way to add VLC media sources in OBS.

Get any type of IP based camera and you can type that IP into the VLC source in OBS.

 

As for a night-vision/wifi camera... I'm not too sure offhand, I would go PoE if possible for stability and power.

I don't have POE were I want to install it but I do have a decent wifi signal. If you can find a good one link it.

I'd say a Go-Pro? They have a really nice lens and can be used as a webcam. I used a knockoff Go-Pro in an experiment with OBS and it worked well.
