Windows infinite install loop

Boyo8787

Anyone know how to fix this? Wondows restarts before finishing up and goes straight to the beginning of the install

And, did you disconnect all the other storage devices while installing?

disconnect power,

disconnect all but you intended C volume,

plug in power

plug in installation media,

CLEAN THE DESTINATION DRIVE USING THE CONSOLE COMMANDS

install

remove installation media

boot and shut down windows

reconnect other storage devices.

It must be true, I read it on the internet...

Yes only thing plugged in was ethernet canle mouse and keyboard only thing i did not try was shutting power supply off and on. Also, when i remove bootable drive I get the black screen that says no bootable device or something like that

Windows expects the bootable media to still be there after it restarts during the install. Don't remove the media, just change the boot order in your BIOS to boot from your main drive. Or you can manually select your main drive to boot from. You can find out how to enter the BIOS through your motherboard manual or looking it up online for your specific motherboard.
