Hi

This might be a stupid question that i just couldn't find the answer to. And there might be a better solution, that i dont know about yet.

So basicly what i was wondering about, is wether it is possible to divide the load of your graphics cards. For example i have 3x 1440p monitors and a 3080. I was wondering if i is possible to only use the 3080 for one monitor so i does not have to worry about all the other stuff. And just focus on gaming. And then have another graphics card for the two other monitors

Yes, it's possible, but it makes basically no difference to performance just running another monitor.

I did a bunch of testing a while ago with a mixture of 3x 1080p and 1x 4K monitors to see if having the other monitors affected gaming performance and the answer is no. It matters what you're doing on the other monitors, but that will be true regardless of how you have it setup as it's more a CPU load than GPU I found.

Try measuring FPS with the monitors plugged in and then do it again with them unplugged, I bet you'll find there's next to no difference in FPS.

Well thank you. I'll try and do that and see the differance.
