It would be just controlled depending on the CPU temperatures and if you want to control that fan using EasyTune you would control the CPU fan option. :)

I don't think it would be controlled without it's 4th pin, would it?

 

Actually it will. The 4th pin will allow it be more accurate but mobo will still use same amount of power to it as it will for CPU cooler fan. They are meant to be used ie. coolers with 3 fans. Thats why. My mobo lists them under one controller.

Oh okay I didn't know that, well my 1st fan is controlled seperately because it's a different fan
