My h100i elite capellix that I got recently was a bit loud, so I decided to do a software mod to make it a bit more quiet and would like to feedback.

RenDoesArt

So I recently got a big upgrade on my rig with everything new besides the GPU and everything was going great until I booted it up and noticed an annoying buzz sound.
It seems to be expected from the pump, but I wanted to see if I could get it a little lower and after having no luck fiddling around the mounting pressure and other potential causes I decided to try to lower the pump RPM.
The default presets won't let it go below 2260, but I did some tweaking in the config and found out that if I run it at 1960rpm it still makes similar noise, but it is very much more tolerable and I can easily have it running without headset on comfortably.

I have no experience with AiOs and was wondering how likely is it to cause problems, been monitoring temps with HWiNFO since and done some stress testing with temperatures being totally fine.
But was wondering what people think and if there's perhaps any similar designs to this one that can run at 1960rpm just fine. Also it's am4 mounting (which I guess might be an issue, but they don't provide an alternative method afaik) and the rad is installed at the top of the case.

At most the cooling performance gets worse, it doesnt hurt the lifespan of anything.
