Is this a good monitor for it’s price?

Chikensoops

Philips 243v7qdsb for $100.

24.3 inch, 16:9, 1080p, 75hz, IPS, 5ms.

Are there any better ones for the same price? Thanks.

imho, for $100, you are better off finding a higher quality monitor used.

I’m not really looking for used monitors though. So for a new, is this price good?

$100 is right around what you pay for an entry level 1080p 60Hz IPS monitor. Just look out that the monitor at least covers most of the sRGB color gamut. Other than that there isn't a whole lot differentiating monitors in this price range. But 75Hz is a nice little bonus.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It says that it has 16.7m colors, and I’m pretty sure that’s the whole srgb color space.

Here are the full specs for it btw.

It is in Indonesian, but people would probably still understand it even if they don’t know any Indo at all.

16.7m colors doesn't really say anything about the gamut coverage. But at least that says us it's an 8bit panel, not that i'd expect any different from a $100 monitor. Normally these monitors mostly cover the sRGB color space, but there are some rare exceptions. Going with a display that has 99% sRGB coverage in it's specs will be safer. The specs sadly don't mention the coverage at all.

I found another site that states more specs. It says 68% NTSC gamut.

Just checked it on a german review site. It's 100% sRGB so you're fine.
