Consensus on Chrome Hardware Acceleration and Windows 10 HAGS (Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling)?

Omie

I'm running a i7 7700k with an RTX 3070 and wondering if it's best that both of these settings are disabled? I'm purely using my computer for gaming while also browsing the web and watching YouTube/Twitch on my second monitor.

If they cause performance issues drop them.

Its something you should be enabling and testing yourself to nail out for sure.

Esp as its a simple toggle switch for both.

Find issues with games losing fps, disable it, if it gains fps in MOST of your games, keep it.

Same with Chrome Acel... try it and see if its a cause of grief

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yeah seems like my best bet, can’t hurt to give it a try.
