So I want to get a new psu, since my old one was always constantly turning off for no real reason. I don't really want to spend too much on a power supply, however, so I need some tips. Say if there is enough connectors for everything I need, does that mean it is enough power? If not, here are my specs:
MB: hp elitedesk 800g1 sff
PSU: Undetermined
Cpu: Xeon e3 1220 V3
Cooler: Stock
RAM: 8gb ddr3
gtx 770 2gb gddr5
2tb 7.2k rpm HDD
256gb (I think) PM851 samsung SSD
5 ~1200 rpm fans
I was thinking if a 550w psu would be enough.
Thanks!

You'll need adapters - your computer doesn't use a standard PSU. Are you still using the stock SFF case as well?

A 550 W unit would be plenty. Make sure to get a decent quality PSU.

It's possible that there's a difference between nVidia's spec sheet and real world application, but they do recommend a 600W PSU for this card.  I recently purchased a 600 W 80+ Gold rated EVGA supply, but it was non-modular.  Only $65 USD, though.  You'll pay around a little less than double that for a fully modular supply.

gtx 770 consumes up to around 180 watts

that cpu and motherboard won't consume more than 100 watts

even a decent 500w psu should be fine. Just make sure it can supply a decent amount of watts on 12v output (you'll want at least 400w on 12v), which is used to power the cpu and video card. Some power supplies advertise a higher wattage amount, but a part of that wattage is "locked" on the 5v and 3.3v outputs, which are barely used in your system.
