Should be able to as long as your 10 key is tied to a microsoft account and its the same hardware.

Provided you have the key, yes. One is most likely tied to your system board, either with a Prebuilt (Dell/HP/Lenovo) or via the Upgrade Program (Upgrade an activated product once on that system to register your board in the program automagically)

Support and Updates are provided to users without licenses these days, so you'll be fine

i'm planning a new a build and wanted to get windows 11 on it from the get go

my windows 10 pro key is one that i got from the sites that sell these keys for like 10$ and its been working great without issues, would these keys work on activating windows 11 or do i need to install windows 10 and activate it first then upgrade  ?

You could potentially run into problems as the keys are usually bound to Hardware ID from the Motherboards usually, but sometimes just changing a CPU a few to many times can make it trigger a hardware change and deactivate.

what would you recommend that i do ?

install windows 11 from scratch and then try using a new unused windows 10 pro Key on it or install windows 10 first and activate it then upgrade to 11 ?

I would install 10 then upgrade to 11 since they key is for 10 just to be on the safe side. Once its done and then you upgrade to 11, you can do a fresh clean install of 11 if you so choose as it should then be bound to the Hardware ID of the motherboard.

Do you mean create a USB Installer with Win10/Win11 on it? Or an SSD with Windows 10/ Windows 11 booting separately?

If you wanna do the USB thing, you want Ventoy

it is using USB flash drive and its pretty straight forward to partition the flash drive and then its easy to do the rest from there with media creation tool

i have a 64gb flash drive so i partitioned it as 10gb for windows 10 via media creation tool and 10gb for windows 11 via media creation tool and 44gb partition for my regular use

No, it doesn't work that way with EFI or the Windows Media Creation tool, you won't be able to boot off your 2nd partition. You need a 3rd party tool like Ventoy

weird

i tried it on my current rig and it detected both partitions in the BIOS and i just select which one to boot from

Don't argue with results I guess, but MS says it can't be done that way, and several other softwares exist to work around the limitation.
