Hello I have a problem and I desperately need your help. My PC has been working fine until today when I plugged in a fan hub to get all my fans up and running. I have reseated my gpu, cpu, cleared my cmos multiple times, moved my boot drive to a different slot and still nothing. No video output and all I get is a code from my motherboard saying 90. Whenever I push the power button my PC will either restart multiple times and say 90 or it'll turn on and just say 90.

My specs are:

Ryzen 3700x

2080 Super FE

Asrock X470 Taichi

Samsung Evo NVME (Boot)

WD Black HDD

Crucial 2TB

If it's stating code 90 then it hasn't initialised the GPU yet so you won't see a display. I recommend going back to basic, disconnect everything except the CPU, 1 stick of RAM and the GPU. Making sure you disconnect the new fan hub you installed.

If it post then add any additional memory then try again. Keep going until everything is reconnected.

OK so I disconnected one stick of ram and it booted what does that mean?

Try the following.

1. Take out the stick in the motherboard and replace it with another one. If the system posts then that confirms the memory is fine.

2. Move one stick to different slot and check that the system posts. Repeat for all slots. This will confirm that the slots are fine.

3. Install two sticks in dual channel mode in channel group 1, post then repeat for channel 2.

This should hopefully highlight the issue or confirm everything is working correctly now.

HI so I did as you said and all the DIM slots work fine when I tested both sticks. However when I put both of them back in I got the same issue.

Also I'm able to boot into windows when using either of the sticks so long as I'm using one. The slot doesn't seem to matter.
