I have the h100i and a i7 4770k.

I played 2 games, not hours.

But when I am IDLE it is at like 45-50F? Isn't it suppose to be lower?

What is the usage at?

Does the pump of the h100i make any weird noises if any at all?

How long have you had the h100i?

What are the ambient temperatures in your room?

Hope I could help!

idle should be much lower. We need the ambient temps, and fan settings.

I only have a few programs open, steam internet and some other stuff but nothing that takes a huge chunk out of the power it is usually under 10%

4jBkdBL.png

pass 10 minutes

No weird noises.

I just put the whole pc together yesterday.

I think the room mite be like 75-80?

And the RPM well was at over 2000 and I lowered it because it was soooo loud it is at 1500/1000 and the temps were the same both ways.

yea that is high. The 2000 rpm is the pump speed I would play with around with those and let LINK or the mobo auto adjust it. What are the fans running at?

You should probably remount the cooler block, those temps aren't enough to be worried at all but they should be lower.

@69ing Rainbow Dash Ok, so I think you should remount the pump, then test again. new thermal paste etc. One thing that strikes me as odd is the "H100I Temp 1" seems really low unless it just an ambient temperature sensor. (I have no clue where that sensor is)    You could try turning up the fan speed though and try gaming for for awhile.

H100i temp is the water temp,

if so there is definitely a mounting issue.

That's still extremely high, I would honestly take that unit back and get a new one. When I had a H100i my water temps ONLY exceeded 30C when under extreme load and I had the fans on a balanced profile that hit about 1700 RPMS under full load. What are your ambient temps like?

I don't think the water temp even moves though and seems to stay like that at any rpm

And it is around 70 degrees or so

water temperature is not as scalable as device temperature. takes alot to make water

temperature to fluctuate .5° (half a degree).

it can take hours of 100% load to get the water temperature to make huge movements

(+5° five degrees). so i would't get riled yet.

so far, a bad TIM app and retest, report new data for evaluation.

ultimate question is "is that stock or overclocked?"

I don't overclock

not to be pesky or picky, please refer temperatures in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit, makes for less conversion errors.

on stock voltage with H100i CPU temp should idle 6-10° above ambient temp (room temperature)

what is your room/ambient temperature?

On a stress test with the h100i with the fans that included @ 4.5 ghz 1.275V I got to 75 C and when I run dayz it's at 40-45 degrees with Skype probably 10 windows open and origin open.

Emmh... Maybe consider killing yourself before you talk to me?

Pople on this forum though some of them had a brain, turns out, no.
