Online Database Solutions?

Hi All, 

 

Was wondering if you could help me out by recommending an online database solution... 

 

Needs: 

  • Act as a searchable directory for people and orgs. 
  • Allow segmented access... (i.e. have a public view w/ limited information and a fuller view for people with password access.)

I'm wondering if such a service is out there... Currently using a system called "In-C" https://www.in-c.net/ that allows this, but it has a clunky interface and we are looking to update and do more in house work. 

Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!
