Does this mounting look OK to you guys? The front of the GPU is slightly crooked.

Mounting is fine, looks like the PCIe bracket thing is bent a little.   As long as it's snug on the slot and you're not torqueing that connection by forcing that PCIe bracket thing to be screwed in a certain way... all is good.

 

The screws are useless.   They MAY hold the GPU in place after years of vibrations possibly making it come loose from the slot but I have seen PC's with GPU's not screwed in.  Similarly ,RAM doesn't need those locks either.

 

They're added for the 0.0000% of things that chaos makes happen.  They're as needed as the tag on a hair dryer not to use it in the bathtub.

The PCIe bracket looks bent inwards towards the rest of the graphics card to me.

Yes, your GPU bracket is a bit crooked, but it doesnt matter uless you have to force it hard.

BUT... your motherboard screws are the wrong kind, the heads are too small and almost goes into the holes by the look of it. They should look something like this
