Hello, I am new here I was wondering why I can not join the LTT discord server. it just kicks me out right away. I am not banned BTW

IDK what you're talking about, I've watched a number of people get banned from Discord on there, and I'll tell you what?  Every last one of them earned it.

 

They ignored friendly user advice to stop, and most of the time they also ignore mod warnings and keep going before getting ejected,

 

At no point have I seen a ban happen there and not laugh at the dumbass who walked into it face first.

You do know that was only for the public main chat... right? You can still post images in any other chat...

I can't seem to join. The discord server asks me to verify my number (Which I already use on a number of other discords) but when I ask it to SMS me I get a message "An existing account is already using this number, instead of giving me the 6 digit pin. It's frustrating because the existing account is me.. on this number.

Your phone number can only be attached to one account. Try using the account that's attached to your phone number.

That's Discord issue, not LTT server. You need to contact Discord support to sort it out.

And that's as good as making Reddit post. The moderation has couple same people, but overall moderation is different. We will lock/hide any thread whining about bans from another site/service.

Being constructive is one thing with posts discussing it and what options you have available, but far to many people come just to bitch, whine and moan about being banned for X reason they feel was unjustified when it clearly wasn't if the ban happened. When these happen, we take moderation action to limit these threads as they do nothing to move in a productive meaningful way.

Whats the part you don't understand? Moderation of forum and Discord aren't related. So we treat any thread about bans from Discord as if they are from completely unrelated service. Those threads don't produce healthy discussions, and are rather pointless as no one on forums will be able assist.

you realize there is absolutely no reason for them to let anyone into the server, right?

 

They can ban anyone for any reason, and there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it.
